About us
What started as a small family business in 1952 has grown into a fully automated and robotized enterprise. From our factory in Amsterdam, we supply over 900 customer-specific metal semi-manufactured products and over 1.4 million units to customers all over Europe. Our goal? To contribute to the optimization of customer processes, so our customers can bring their product to market cost-effectively.
In addition to our four production techniques, we distinguish ourselves through flexibility, a cost-effective organization, and a continuous production process. As the first company in the market, we have fully robotized and automated the spinning process. As a result, we are among the top in terms of volume, (process) innovation, and production automation.
Our work method
Our focus is on the production of metal semi-manufactured products, involving larger series where dimensions, tolerances, delivery reliability, and competitive pricing play a decisive role. Think of flue gas systems, HVAC installations, waste processing systems, solar installations, roof safety, etc.
View our methodOur mission
We see it as a challenge to offer you, based on market developments and our market focus, the optimal balance between quality, price, and delivery reliability. Therefore, we look at what the developments in your market are and think along with you. To support all this, we are ISO-certified, stock-holding, and co-engineer products in close cooperation with our customers. Customer-specific agreements on product series, order sizes, minimum stocks, and consignment are important values in our supply chain management.
Quality assurance ISO
We stand for quality. Always. To ensure the quality of our products, we are ISO 9001:2015 certified. This means that our products meet all international requirements and guidelines. Our processes and products are continuously evaluated and improved.
SocioPack
An important part of our company is our packaging and assembly department, SocioPack. Here, less complex tasks – such as labeling, packing, and assembling – are carried out by employees with a distance to the labor market.

In 1952, De Mercuur started with manual metal spinning. Meanwhile. we have now grown into a fully automated and robotized company that masters and combines 4 production techniques. In the more than 70 years of our existence, we have proven ourselves over and over again. The key to our success? We have grown big by staying small. With about 25 employees, we have a flat organization which does as promised.
